The Last 5 Years tells the story of Jamie and Cathy... from their first date to the final breakdown of their marriage. But its story telling is unique... Cathy starts the play lamenting the end of their relationship, and moves backwards in time... while Jamie starts it off with their first date and ends with goodbye. The songs were solos, except for the marriage proposal song.

Beautiful play... and I'm not just saying that because my best friend had the lead role.

Mahar, I have no idea if you'll be able to read this, but I thought you guys did a terrific job :)

at the director's house... loyola grand villas :) it's for his thesis :) nice the songs, noh?

The Last 5 Years might be featured in the Fine Arts Festival in Ateneo January of 2008. I'll let you know :)

Mahar Mangahas? This guy was Kim's (my brother) classmate in grade school. I would never have guessed directing plays would be in his future. Although I think he was part of Ateneo Children's Theater too. Well, at least his brother was.
